Experience Shrewsbury Market Hall by night with eateries and bars open late. Enjoy flavours from around the world, delicious cocktails and the market’s well-known artisan gin and ‘real wine’ bars.
A small number of retail stalls also open into the evening, allowing visitors to do a spot of twilight shopping – everything from vintage, art and boutique clothing and accessories to preloved books, handcrafts, natural skincare, plants, crystals and hand-poured scented candles.
Simply rock up. Most eateries take walk-ins only on the night. Some cafes are busier than others and, during busy periods, each operates a waiting system. You can enjoy a drink at the café or at one of the bars while your table becomes available.
Moreish café takes advance bookings only for a three-course set menu and live music with two or three sittings during the evening. Bookings are taken via Eventbrite.
There are also street food venues offering food without a wait.
Bars open up to 10pm, eateries open up to 9pm and a small range of retail stalls open up to 7/8pm. Last entry to the building is 9.30pm. Free entry.
