Independent jewellery brand Easthope Studio, known for its playful, timeless designs, has opened a new shop in Shrewsbury Market Hall.

Founded in 2021 by Harriet Easthope, the brand has built a reputation for creating high quality, sustainable jewellery designed for everyday wear.

The shop is more than just a place to buy jewellery—it is also creative hub, showcasing the best of independent design.

Alongside Easthope Studio’s signature pieces, customers will find a carefully curated selection of work from local makers and artists, including members of the Swan Hill Studio Circle, a thriving community of creatives based in Shrewsbury. Expect ceramics, prints, textiles, and other thoughtfully crafted pieces, all made by hands that care about process, materials and storytelling.

The current curation includes works from Sam Pooley-Stride, Meg Ward, Charlotte Tisdale and Saffron Russel.

“I’m so thrilled to be opening in Shrewsbury market,” said Harriet. “It’s such a strong and thriving community, where every person who walks through the door is choosing to support small businesses —and that’s so magic.

“Having a physical space means we can invite people in, share the story behind our pieces, and highlight the incredible creativity in Shrewsbury. The market has this incredible energy, where independent traders come together to create something bigger than the sum of its parts. I couldn’t imagine a better place for Easthope Studio to grow.”

Workshops have always been at the heart of Easthope Studio, and they will continue to be a key part of the offering.

In addition to those hosted in the new market shop, the popular workshops will still take place at Snoop and Swan Hill Studios to ensure that as many people as possible can take part.

Whether someone is looking to try jewellery-making for the first time, refine their skills, or simply enjoy a creative and mindful experience, there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved.
